The auto show season is upon us...which means that Spring must be just around the corner! Our own Canadian International Auto Show drives into town on February 16 and continues at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre until the 25th. If the past is any indication of the future, this year's exhibition should be bursting with exciting new product unveilings and vehicle innovations.

One of the most anticipated presentations this year will be the return of the Ford Ranger, which just debuted in Detroit. Many of our own fleet clients and small contractors have expressed interest in seeing this new mid-size truck after what will be an eight-year production hiatus!

Sources tell us that the new Ford Ranger comes back to the market with a Ford-built four-cylinder 2.3-litre turbo producing 310 hp and 320 lb.-ft. of torque integrated with new off-road technology, two cab offerings, and three trim levels. It's expected to go on sale next spring.

As I've mentioned, this year's Toronto auto show promises to be bigger and better with more attractions than ever before. It's your opportunity to shop and compare from amongst more than 1,000 cars, trucks, and SUVs. There are exotics, classics, muscle cars, electric, and concept vehicles. So make sure you dress comfortably and wear your walking shoes because there's a lot of displays and points of interest spread out over a vast area!
